Dr. Greg Downer was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He graduated from University of Tennessee Dental School in 1999. After graduation, Dr Downer worked in the Indian Health Service for the Nez Perce tribe in Lewiston, Idaho. In 2006, Dr Downer returned to Nashville and he joined Smyrna Dental Center as the primary dentist.

In 2012, Dr Downer took over the practice, and is happy to be serving Smyrna and the surrounding areas. Dr Downer will always take the time to hear your dental concerns and personally devise your treatment plan with you. When not practicing dentistry, Dr Downer is spending time with his wife Lacy and their 3 growing boys Grahm, Nathanial, and Jude. They keep him occupied with sports and they love to travel and spend time outdoors swimming and camping.
